Privacy Policy

The short version

The UNG FU game contains no advertising, and we do not sell personal information for money. This website does use optional advertising trackers: Google Analytics and the Meta pixel help us understand how people find the game and let us show UNG FU ads to people who have visited this site. In the UK, EU, and EEA those stay off until you accept them. Elsewhere they load unless you opt out. You can change your mind at any time. Most game data stays on your device.

Information we handle

App and browser game data

Settings, coin wallet, best score, best distance, tutorial completion, and a pending leaderboard score are stored locally on your device or in this browser. UNG FU does not receive this local information from the website. Clearing site data or deleting the app removes it.

Game Center and Google Play Games

If you use Game Center on iOS, Apple authenticates your player account and processes your display name and leaderboard score. UNG FU submits your best completed-run score to Apple’s Game Center service. Apple handles that information under Apple’s Privacy Policy.

If you use Google Play Games on Android, Google authenticates your player account and processes your display name and leaderboard score. UNG FU submits your best completed-run score to Google Play Games. Google handles that information under the Google Privacy Policy.

Website operations

Our hosting and security providers may process standard request information, such as an IP address, browser type, and request time, to deliver and protect the site. We use the visitor’s country from Cloudflare to decide whether to ask before loading analytics and advertising.

Optional website analytics

This website may use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find UNG FU and how they use the browser game. When you allow this, Google may process general information such as pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, referral source, campaign links, and aggregated gameplay events such as whether someone started or finished a run. Google Analytics is configured without Google Signals and without ad personalisation, so it is used to understand website traffic and game engagement rather than to build advertising profiles. Google’s handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.

Optional advertising and remarketing

This website may also load the Meta pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. We use it to measure whether our Facebook and Instagram ads actually bring people to UNG FU, and to build custom audiences for remarketing—which means people who have visited this site, or taken an action such as playing the browser game, may later be shown UNG FU ads on Facebook, Instagram, and other services in Meta’s network. We may also ask Meta to build lookalike audiences of people with similar characteristics.

This is cross-site tracking, and it is worth being clear about what it means. When the pixel is active, Meta receives your IP address, the pages you view on this site, your browser and device type, and the gameplay events described above. Meta can link that activity to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one, and uses it for its own purposes under its own terms. We configure the pixel so it sends only the events we have chosen, rather than automatically scraping the buttons and forms you interact with.

Both are optional. In the UK, EU, and EEA they stay off until you choose Accept all: neither Google Analytics nor the Meta pixel is loaded and no cookies are set for either purpose. Elsewhere they load by default unless you choose Reject all, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. If you choose Reject all, both stay disabled. You can change your choice at any time with the Privacy choices control in the site footer. We do not send hashed email addresses or other contact information to Meta for audience matching.

How information is used

• Provide Game Center and Google Play Games authentication and the high-score leaderboard.
• Operate, secure, and troubleshoot the website and browser game.
• Understand optional website traffic and browser-game engagement.
• Measure whether our advertising reaches people who play the game.
• Build custom and lookalike audiences so UNG FU ads can be shown to people who have visited this site.
• Respond when you contact support or send accessibility feedback.

Sharing and third parties

We do not sell or rent personal information for money. Information may be processed by service providers only where needed to operate UNG FU—for example, Apple for Game Center, Google for Play Games, and infrastructure providers that host the website. We may also disclose information if required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.

If advertising is allowed, browsing information is shared with Meta as described above. Under some United States state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, using a pixel for cross-context behavioural advertising counts as “sharing” or a “sale” of personal information even though no money changes hands. Choosing Reject all at the consent banner, or later through the Privacy choices control in the site footer, opts you out of that sharing. We also honour Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a GPC signal, analytics and advertising stay off without you having to do anything, and the consent banner is not shown. You can still turn them on deliberately through the Privacy choices control if you want to. We use the visitor’s country from Cloudflare to decide whether to ask first (UK, EU, and EEA) or to load trackers unless you opt out (elsewhere). That lookup can be wrong if you use a VPN.

Retention and your choices

Information held by Google and Meta is retained under their own policies and controlled through their own settings; withdrawing consent here stops further collection but does not by itself delete what they already hold. Local browser data can be removed by clearing this site’s data. Local iOS or Android data can be removed by deleting the app. Game Center and Google Play Games information can be managed through your Apple Account, Game Center, or Google account settings.

Children’s privacy

UNG FU does not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through this site, contact us and we will remove it where we can.
