UNG FU
Privacy Policy
UNG FU is developed by Greyden Scott. This policy explains how information is handled in the UNG FU iOS and Android apps, the browser game, and this website.
The short version
The iOS and Android apps offer an optional rewarded ad after game over: if you choose to watch the full ad, 20 coins are stored in your local wallet. Google AdMob serves those ads and may process coarse location, device identifiers, advertising and ad-interaction information, and diagnostics. Google’s consent form is shown where required, and Ad privacy choices in the app’s options menu lets you revisit available choices. The apps also use Meta to measure installs; Google and Meta declare that some device identifiers are linked and used for advertising measurement or tracking. The browser game has no in-game ads. We do not sell personal information for money. If you join the waitlist, we keep the details you provide so we can contact you. This website separately uses optional Google Analytics and Meta advertising trackers. Most game data stays on your device.
Information we handle
App and browser game data
Settings, coin wallet, best score, best distance, tutorial completion, and a pending leaderboard score are stored locally on your device or in this browser. UNG FU does not receive this local information from the website. Clearing site data or deleting the app removes it.
Game Center and Google Play Games
If you use Game Center on iOS, Apple authenticates your player account and processes your display name and leaderboard score. UNG FU submits your best completed-run score to Apple’s Game Center service. Apple handles that information under Apple’s Privacy Policy.
If you use Google Play Games on Android, Google authenticates your player account and processes your display name and leaderboard score. UNG FU submits your best completed-run score to Google Play Games. Google handles that information under the Google Privacy Policy.
App install measurement
The iOS and Android apps include the Meta SDK so we can tell which of our app install ads actually led to an install. When enabled, it reports that the app was opened, together with your IP address, device model, operating system version, and app version. On Android it also reports your Google advertising ID and the Google Play install referrer, which records the ad you tapped. Meta matches those against its own ad click records. Under Apple’s App Store terminology, the SDK’s use of a linked device identifier for advertising measurement is tracking. Meta’s iOS SDK disclosure also lists unlinked crash data for app functionality and other unlinked data for analytics. It does not report your gameplay, scores, coins, purchases, or waitlist details, and the Google Analytics and Meta pixel trackers described below are never loaded inside the apps.
In the UK, EU, and EEA the SDK stays switched off until you choose Accept all the first time you open the app: nothing reaches Meta and no identifier is read. Everywhere else it reports the app open unless you choose Reject all. You can change your choice at any time with Privacy choices in the app’s options menu, and turning it off stops further reporting. The app reads the region your device reports to decide whether to ask first; if that region is unclear, it asks.
On iPhone and iPad, Apple separately counts installs for us through SKAdNetwork. Apple performs that count on the device itself and gives us only an anonymous campaign total, with no identifier and nothing that can be traced back to you, so it happens on every install regardless of the choice above. UNG FU does not request access to Apple’s advertising identifier (IDFA). The Google and Meta SDK disclosures nevertheless classify other app- or developer-scoped device identifiers as linked and used for tracking.
Optional rewarded ads in the apps
After game over, you can choose Watch Ad to view a Google AdMob rewarded ad in exchange for 20 local game coins. Ads never start automatically. No coins are awarded if the ad is unavailable, fails, or is closed before Google confirms the reward. A completed reward is recorded locally so the same ad callback cannot add coins twice. UNG FU does not send Google your score, character collection, coin balance, purchases, waitlist details, or contact information for this feature.
To request and measure an ad, Google and participating ad buyers may process information such as your IP address, device and operating-system details, app or device identifiers, coarse location inferred from an IP address, advertising identifiers where the platform and your choices permit them, ad views and interactions, crash and performance data, and other diagnostics. Google may use that information to select, deliver, limit, and measure ads, analyse performance, and operate its consent and advertising services. The app uses Google’s User Messaging Platform to request and store advertising privacy choices where required. When Google requires an ongoing privacy entry point, Ad privacy choices appears in the app’s options menu. Google handles this information under the Google Privacy Policy.
iOS App Store privacy disclosure summary
For the current iOS app, the Google and Meta SDK privacy disclosures list eight categories: coarse location; device ID; product interaction; advertising data; crash data; performance data; other diagnostic data; and other data types used for analytics. Coarse location, device ID, product interaction, and advertising data may be linked to you through a device or other details. Device ID is the only one of these categories declared as used for tracking. Crash, performance, other diagnostic, and other analytics data are declared as not linked to you and not used for tracking.
These categories are used, depending on the SDK and category, for third-party advertising, UNG FU advertising or marketing, analytics, and app functionality such as consent management, ad delivery, and diagnostics. They are not used by UNG FU to personalise gameplay or the character shop.
Website waitlist
If you join the waitlist, we collect the first name, last name, email address, and iOS or Android preference you provide. We use those details to contact you about UNG FU, including launch news and possible invitations to help test the game during development. Joining is optional.
Website operations
Our hosting and security providers may process standard request information, such as an IP address, browser type, and request time, to deliver and protect the site. We use the visitor’s country from Cloudflare to decide whether to ask before loading analytics and advertising.
Optional website analytics
This website may use Google Analytics 4 to understand how people find UNG FU and how they use the browser game. When you allow this, Google may process general information such as pages visited, approximate location derived from IP address, device and browser type, referral source, campaign links, and aggregated gameplay events such as whether someone started or finished a run. Google Analytics is configured without Google Signals and without ad personalisation, so it is used to understand website traffic and game engagement rather than to build advertising profiles. Google’s handling of information is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
Optional advertising and remarketing
This website may also load the Meta pixel, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc. We use it to measure whether our Facebook and Instagram ads actually bring people to UNG FU, and to build custom audiences for remarketing—which means people who have visited this site, or taken an action such as playing the browser game, may later be shown UNG FU ads on Facebook, Instagram, and other services in Meta’s network. We may also ask Meta to build lookalike audiences of people with similar characteristics.
This is cross-site tracking, and it is worth being clear about what it means. When the pixel is active, Meta receives your IP address, the pages you view on this site, your browser and device type, and the gameplay and signup events described above. Meta can link that activity to your Facebook or Instagram account if you have one, and uses it for its own purposes under its own terms. We configure the pixel so it sends only the events we have chosen, rather than automatically scraping the buttons and forms you interact with.
Both are optional. In the UK, EU, and EEA they stay off until you choose Accept all: neither Google Analytics nor the Meta pixel is loaded and no cookies are set for either purpose. Elsewhere they load by default unless you choose Reject all, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal. If you choose Reject all, both stay disabled. You can change your choice at any time with the Privacy choices control in the site footer. Waitlist names and email addresses are never sent to Google or Meta, and we do not send hashed email addresses or other contact information to Meta for audience matching.
You can also control this at Meta directly, independently of your choice here, through your Meta ad preferences. Meta’s handling of information is described in the Meta Privacy Policy.

- Respond when you contact support or send accessibility feedback.
Sharing and third parties
We do not sell or rent personal information for money. Information may be processed by service providers only where needed to operate UNG FU—for example, Apple for Game Center, Google for Play Games and AdMob, participating ad buyers when you request an ad, and infrastructure providers that host the website or store waitlist details. We may also disclose information if required by law or necessary to protect users and the service.
If advertising is allowed, browsing information is shared with Meta as described above. Under some United States state privacy laws, including the California Consumer Privacy Act, using a pixel for cross-context behavioural advertising counts as “sharing” or a “sale” of personal information even though no money changes hands. Choosing Reject all at the consent banner, or later through the Privacy choices control in the site footer, opts you out of that sharing. We also honour Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a GPC signal, analytics and advertising stay off without you having to do anything, and the consent banner is not shown. You can still turn them on deliberately through the Privacy choices control if you want to. We use the visitor’s country from Cloudflare to decide whether to ask first (UK, EU, and EEA) or to load trackers unless you opt out (elsewhere). That lookup can be wrong if you use a VPN. In the apps, the same choice governs whether the app-open and device information described above is shared with Meta for install measurement, and the region comes from your device rather than Cloudflare.
Retention and your choices
Waitlist names, email addresses, and platform preferences are kept until you ask us to remove them or the waitlist is no longer needed. Information held by Google, participating ad buyers, and Meta is retained under their own policies and controlled through their own settings; changing a choice stops or limits future processing as described by that provider but does not by itself delete information already held. Local browser data can be removed by clearing this site’s data. Local iOS or Android data, including rewarded coins, can be removed by deleting the app. Game Center and Google Play Games information can be managed through your Apple Account, Game Center, or Google account settings.
To leave the waitlist, request deletion, or ask a privacy question, email hello@ungfu.app from the address you used. We may need to verify your request.
Children’s privacy
UNG FU does not knowingly request personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information through this site or joined the waitlist, contact us and we will remove it where we can.
Changes and contact
This policy may be updated as UNG FU changes. The effective date above will be revised when material changes are published. Questions can be sent to hello@ungfu.app.
